3 Drink Minimum . . . or 3DM for short . . . is Washington, DC's eclectic, high energy 7-piece band, featuring Bruce Terrell (lead guitar), Ed Wilczynski (sax, clarinet, accordion and keyboard), Ted Beuttler (bass), Ole Varmer (vocals/acoustic guitar), Pete Magoon (trombone, vocals), Jeff O'Connor (guitar/vocals), and Capt. Craig McLean (drums).

3DM plays a wide variety of music, anything from old-school rock & roll, classic R&B and soul, to swing and jazz standards. Their versatile song selections are perfect for dance parties, and also easily accommodate a wide variety of special events including Mardi Gras parties, birthdays, receptions, ...even parades!

And, when the occasion calls for it, several of the versatile 3DM band members can even provide instrumental jazz music (a.k.a. The ACME trio ), or even down-home, acoustic coffee house blues !
